Since 2007 I have been in online private practice, working worldwide with individual clients and supervisees.

​

I have worked in adult education for most of my professional life and am passionately committed to life-long learning.  I started my career as a teacher of English as an Additional Language to adult learners in Inner London, and completed my adult education work in the role of Vice-Principal at City Lit , the premier adult education centre in London. In addition to teaching students and training staff, my education work included co-authoring training materials and teacher training materials. I also designed and ran training courses for adult education staff, and provided management training and consultancy in the NHS and other statutory and voluntary bodies

 

I have an undergraduate degree in English Literature, and was subsequently awarded a PhD in Social Anthropology for research in the French Caribbean.
