More about Izzy
It was the best decision I have ever made for myself. I had landed somewhere where I was heard with respect and care and my journey of self-discovery and growing into who I authentically am began.
I went on from the workshop immediately into personal therapy and then onto train as a therapist. I began my training in 2009. I wanted to support others with the same transformative experience that I had received.
The training was an ideal fit for me as it was grounded in experiential learning. I had struggled through my schooling life with an undiagnosed learning difficulty which meant that I couldn’t access learning in a ‘traditional’ academic way. I know now that I learn best experientially and I am excited and dedicated to supporting others in ways that they learn best.
I am passionate about group therapy. I have been part of a women’s group for 14 years. My experience is that in well held group settings, our personal learning accelerates exponentially. It’s a wonderful thing to be able to share of ourselves and be witnessed by others who have the same interest in personal development. For me it’s therapeutic magic!
I love and strive to support people to fully become who they are, living how they want to live in the world rather than who they’ve learnt to be from the messages, beliefs and experiences from their past. To live in accordance with themselves, to be in harmony.
